Is a Wi-Fi QR code free to generate? ▾
Yes. This tool runs in your browser. We never store your SSID or password on our servers for the QR itself.
Why is this QR not a “Smart QR” short link? ▾
Phones expect a raw WIFI: string to auto-join a network. A redirect URL would not trigger the Wi-Fi join sheet.
Does it work on iPhone and Android? ▾
Modern iOS and Android camera apps recognise Wi-Fi QR codes. Guests open the camera, point at the code, and tap the notification to connect.
Can I add my logo in the centre of the QR? ▾
Yes — upload a PNG with transparency. We use high error correction so a small centre logo usually still scans. Test with your own phones before printing large runs.
